GOD, DO YOU REMEMBER ME?

You did not forget the Israelites when they were in bondage in Egypt for 400 yrs. You heard their groaning by reason of their slave drivers. You cared about their suffering. You did not forget the Covenant You made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
-
You have not forgotten the promises You made to Your church. No matter how long ago it was, all Your promises in Christ are Yes and Amen.

Merciful Savior, You did not forget nor forsake Zion. And You have not forsaken Your church. You have not forsaken me.

DO YOU HEAR AND SEE?

The enemy says You do not see nor perceive. But he is a liar. LORD, You made the ear and the eye. You not only see and hear me, but You even know my thoughts and my heart.

You also see my enemies. There is no creature hidden from Your sight, but are naked and exposed to You, to Whom all are going to give an account. The enemy plots against me, but no weapon that is formed against me shall prosper. The enemy’s plans to harm me
shall be thwarted, and Your counsel shall stand, Your purpose shall be accomplished.

ARE YOU HERE?

You are ever with me, even in the valley of the shadow of death. You see me when I am afflicted, You hear me when I cry. You know when I am in pain. You are aware of my sorrow, and when I suffer loss. When I call You for help, You answer and You come to my rescue. Abba Father, You have not given me a spirit that makes me a slave again to fear, but the Spirit of son ship. I don’t want to give up when I see the enemy approaching. I do not want to complain against You nor doubt You. I don’t want an idol to take Your place. I do not want to be rebellious. I choose life, not death.

DO YOU KNOW?

You know my weakness and my failures, but my life is hidden with Christ in You, Father. I confess my sins to You, and You forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. You have made me righteous in Christ. You direct my steps and delight in every detail of my life. You know all my ways. You know my rising up and lying down. You see my going out and coming in. You even plan my life with good plans. All things are working together my good according to Your purpose.

DO YOU LOVE ME AND CARE?

You left the 99 sheep to go look for the solitary one that was lost. I once was lost, but now am found. You found me. You demonstrated Your deep love and great compassion for me by giving the Lord Jesus, Your Son, to die for my sins when I was without strength and dead in my sins. You now call me Your child. You also want for me to cast all my anxieties on You because You care for me. Your steadfast love endures forever. And I love You, because You first loved me.

THE PRISONER OF HOPE'S CRY

From the height of Your sanctuary from heaven, You hear me, and Your arm is not short to save. You hear my sighing and groaning as I hurt and suffer, and death stares me in the face. But I look away, and look at You instead in the face of Jesus. You are invisible to me, but You are invincible and You are my heart’s cry and hope for deliverance.

LORD, You are gracious, and You are merciful. I also am praying for others that are prisoners as well, the difference being, I am a prisoner of hope. I hope in You God. You said it and I believe that You will set free those that are bound in prison and appointed to death, whose lives have been stolen by the devil who also wants to kill and destroy. You are the mighty Deliverer that loves us and has compassion for the broken. I cry for help spiritually and physically. I pray for wisdom and discernment of my thoughts, desiring to be consistent in submitting to the mind of Christ. I pray for protection from the devil’s lies. Preserve Your truth in me. I pray for the power to live a life in Christ.

Father God, I pray for me as a whole person. You want me whole.

I am humbled that You know me and address me by my name. I am grateful to have the saving knowledge of the Lord Christ and to be in spiritual union with You through Him. I am alive with You in my spirit. I love You because You first loved me when I was without strength and dead in my sins.

Therefore, I desire to live daily with You and for my inner life to be healthy and to have moral health and not serve nor indulge in impure desires and lusts. For Your Son was manifested in my life to destroy the works of the devil. I pray Your Spirit will help me to be submissive and obedient to you. I want to be like the new creature in Christ and walk in the truth and be loyal to the truth of the gospel. For nothing gives You more pleasure than when Your children are living in the truth. LORD, I want for Your truth to affect every part of my life, and the truth is the Lord Jesus Christ, THE WORD OF GOD.

LORD, You let me know You also want for my body to be healthy and for me to prosper.

O my soul, don’t incline my heart to be cold or dead. Bless the Lord who is worthy of praise! The sung praises of the LORD sing of His works to me. The finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ is the only answer to the problem of pain and suffering; sin, and death. Never forget the many favors and benefits the LORD bestows upon me continually. He forgives me of all my iniquities and heals all of my sickness.

Father God, You made me fearfully and wonderfully. Thank You for protecting my body with defenses to fight off a multitude of germs, bacteria, and viruses that see me, but I can’t see in the course of my life. Thank You for the many times You healed me when I was attacked by them. Your many thoughts over me are countless. I couldn’t name them all. Thank You LORD for all of them!

Father, I am so grateful to You for the unfathomable deep work You’ve done through Christ within me by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Nothing is hidden from Your Word. For my good, deliver me from secret and presumptuous sins that affect my walk with You. Your Word says, how can two walk together unless they agree. Heal me particularly in these areas. I praise You for Your wonderful work to me. In Jesus name, amen.

Isaiah 58:8 Thy light shall break forth as the morning, and thy health shall spring forth speedily; and thy righteousness shall go before thee: the glory of the Lord shall be thy rear guard.

GLORIOUS FATHER, no thick clouds can prevent the breaking of the morning as You command the light of joy, peace, and comfort.

Suddenly and irresistibly our health shall spring forth as the grass out of the earth after the clear shinning rain.
